Construction of Sabiha Gokcen Airport, 2nd Runway and Its Supplements
Within the scope of the project;
- 3,500 m new runway construction,
- Two new parallel taxiways each with 3,500 m length,
- 6 high speed taxiways, 9 connecting taxiways,
- Two aprons with the area of 600,000 m2 and 144,000 m2 and
- The construction of a 115 m tall control tower.
In addition, within the scope of the project; technical and service buildings and control tower with a total area of 13,300 m2 were constructed.
